Welcome to So Cal Cruzer

Southern California is one of the most diverse flying environments in the country. Within a couple hours you can fly from coastal airports and island runways to mountain valleys and desert strips.

So Cal Cruzer is where I document those adventures.

This site follows the flights and experiences in my Zenith CH 750 Cruzer—what I call CruzerOne, though others know it as Rudolph—as I explore airports and back-country airstrips across Southern California and beyond. Each trip adds another destination, another story, and another perspective from the cockpit.

Here you’ll find:

  • airports I’ve visited
  • flight photos and videos
  • trip reports and lessons learned
  • aircraft modifications and equipment
  • a growing map of places CruzerOne has landed

Whether you’re a pilot, an aviation enthusiast, or just curious about what lies beyond the next ridge, welcome aboard.
